Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Sunrise Entertainment when you use our site or play our games.
In plain terms. Play fair, don't cheat or abuse other players, don't try to break the games, and understand that a free online service can change or go away. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their refund rules. Nothing here takes away consumer rights your local law gives you.
1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Sunrise Entertainment LLC. By visiting sun-ent.com or CardsClan.com, or by downloading or playing any of our games, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use our services with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we'll give reasonable notice on this site or in the game. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the new version.
2. Your licence to use our games
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. That's the whole of what you get — we license the software to you, we don't sell it to you.
You may not: copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the games; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble them except to the narrow extent applicable law forbids us from restricting; remove or alter any notices; or use them to build a competing product.
3. Acceptable conduct
When playing online or taking part in our community, you agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, automation, modified clients or anything else that gives an unfair advantage;
- harass, threaten, defame or abuse other players, or post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or anything unlawful;
- share other people's personal information;
- impersonate us, our staff or another player;
- advertise, spam or solicit;
- deliberately disconnect to avoid a loss, or manipulate leaderboards or matchmaking;
- interfere with our servers, probe our security, or attempt unauthorised access;
- collect data from our services by scraping or any automated means.
We may remove content, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.
4. Accounts and progress
Some features need a nickname or profile. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it's been compromised.
Game progress, virtual currency and leaderboard standing are part of the service, not property, and have no monetary value outside the game. They are tied to a device profile or account and may not carry across platforms, reinstalls or new devices. We are not liable for progress lost to device failure, deletion or a change of hardware.
5. Purchases, virtual items and refunds
Our games are free to download. Some offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads or buying virtual items.
- All payments go through Apple or Google. We never receive or store your payment card details.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under Apple's or Google's refund policies. We can't issue refunds directly, but we'll help you with a claim where we can.
- Virtual items are a limited licence, not property. They can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for real money, and they end when your licence or the service does.
- Consumer rights stay intact. If your local law gives you a right to cancel or a statutory refund, these terms don't override it.
- Prices and offers may change. Changes don't apply retroactively to purchases you've already made.
6. Advertising
Our games are funded by advertising. By playing, you accept that ads will be shown, including full-screen and rewarded video formats. We don't control the content of third-party ads and aren't responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites. Ad targeting and your choices about it are covered in the Privacy Policy. Where offered, an in-app purchase removes ads.
7. Content you submit
Nicknames, chat messages, feedback and anything else you send us remain yours. By submitting them you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate and improve the services.
You confirm you have the right to submit what you submit. We may remove anything that breaches section 3 and are not obliged to store or return it.
If you send us an idea or suggestion, we're free to use it without owing you anything — so please don't send us anything you consider confidential.
8. Our intellectual property
The games, the website, our names, logos, artwork, audio and code are owned by Sunrise Entertainment LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
Apple, the Apple logo, App Store, Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. We use them only to identify where our games are available.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the services running, but we don't promise they'll be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features — or an entire game — at any time. If we shut a game's online services down permanently, we'll give reasonable notice where practical. We aren't liable for the loss of virtual items or progress when a service ends.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop at any time by deleting the app or ceasing to use the site. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we're required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — do survive.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sunrise Entertainment LLC and its officers and employees will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or virtual items, arising from your use of the services.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the relevant game in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) twenty-five United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including the statutory rights of consumers.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Trinidad and Tobago have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another region whose law guarantees you the protection of your home courts and mandatory local rules, nothing here deprives you of that protection.

14. Apple and Google terms
For apps obtained from the App Store: this agreement is between you and Sunrise Entertainment LLC only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for third-party claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
For apps obtained from Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply to your download and use.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it.
